Charwick organizes local visits to the poor and elderly, as well as connecting girls with service camps, organized by centers of Opus Dei, in developing countries. During these visits, the girls learn about the importance of caring for the weak and marginalized in society. Popular past projects include baking and Christmas caroling for nursing homes in December, springtime visits to the house-bound, and trips to help at nearby food banks. These activities typically occur on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon during the school year.

The service camps take place in the summer, where the girls spend a few weeks in a developing country working on a service project in the local community.
